| Altium/Tasking support for Acqura Emulators |
| * | | Altium/Tasking support for Acqura Emulators I use a PDS51 emulator for my P87LPC76X designs and the PDS51E emulator for the P89LPC9XX devices. I use the Tasking/Altium 8051 V7.0 r9 toolset which creates compatible .O51 files for these emulators. Tasking explcitly mentions Acqura emulator support on the current version (7.2) but I can''t get any details on the level of integration, it would be great if the CrossView debugger in Tasking could run these emulators but I don''t see any of the configuration files required. Can anybody tell me if the support is only at the object file level or can I truly use the CrossView ... more (see whole posting) |

| | | RE: Altium/Tasking support for Acqura Emulators The CrossView debugger communicates with a variety of emulation platforms through DLL drivers.
Our emulators, especially the PDS51E/PDS900 have features that proved to be best supported by a dedicated IDE. With the Tasking extended OMF format PDS900 should provide full source debugging, including advanced features such as variable scope, leaving the CrosView environment for editing and compiling.
