Topic Posted User * Can't emulate P89C51RD2HBA with PDB51Rx2 because of timers Hi everyone, we recently purchased a PDB51Rx2 daughterboard for emulating a P89C51RDHBA device. PDS51 emulator is at version 3.44. With the previous daughterboard which doesn''t support 8xC51RD2 device, we used to maintain two distinct timers files: one for emulating a RD+ device, the other for the real RD2 device. I am also not sure as to whether you are questioning the clocking rate or why the system resets. The following are some general comments that may be of use. The current bondout used in the PDB66x-51RD2 is a real 51RD2BA part and I would have expected the internal timers to be identical to that of the 51RD2HBA. BTW: my information shows that the 51RD2HBA is an ''obsolete'' part.
