| | | new PDS900 and PDS51E hallo,
just before a couple of minutes I installed PDS51E-Rev.4.48 from CD. Then I got the update 4.50 via internet and I plugged my brandnew LPC900 to an usb port (w2k on a shuttle xpc).
Then flashes the message:
The selected device is unknown. The default device for this personality board (P89LPC935) will be selected instead.
My PDS900 has : P89LPC936 Bondout R1.0(A)
What to do?
regards

| | | RE: new PDS900 and PDS51E - why the default device? Hi Diano,
The message ''selected device is unknown'' has occurred because as a new installation with no project the device has not been set up. As a recovery mechanism the IDE will then pick the default device for the detected emulator.
Open the Options menu and on the Emulation tab you will be able toset the target device. The IDE notes the physical act of selecting a device - so still select the default if that is the device you are targeting.
Then save your project. Everything you set up in the PDS51E IDE is saved in ... more (see whole posting) |
