Topic Posted User DIP40 to PLCC44 adapter Does anyone know where I can get an adapter to allow an 8051 in a PLCC44 package to be used on a PCB designed to take a DIP40 package. I have looked at a couple of adapter vendors websites but they just seem to make generic ones that map pin-1 to pin-1 and so-on which isn''t any use. It is specifically designed for this application (with pins 1, 12, 23, 34 skipped) and is the only one I know of which works. In the UK etc. you can order this from RS as 229-5575.
