| Timer 2, both for serial and counting |
|
Hi
Is there any way of using timer 2 for counting but change its behaviour to serial port timing when a serial interrupt is made? I am using P89C668.
I tried to put the following configuration in the serial interrupt routine
mov RCAP2L, #0EAh; 20MHz crystal, 6-clk device, 57600 bps
mov RCAP2H, #0FFh
mov T2CON, #034h
and it does not work but it works if I set it in the initialisation part.
Thanks
Gudjon
