LPC9xx family configuration suggestion
Hello All,
Recently there has been some postings about LPC9xx port mode issues. I am not sure if this is documented in the LPC9xx family user manual but ...

When configuring the ports on the LPC9xx device ALWAYS write to the port latch BEFORE changing the associated mode registers.

This is because the mode is change immediately these registers are updated and whatever value is in the port latch will be applied to the outside world.

If you haven't written the port latch then there is a chance that an umintended value will be output. This may only exist for a cycle or two, but ...
