| Our Commitment to Customers |
We are development engineers and always seek to design and manufacture products which we ourselves would want to use. While we do not aim to be the cheapest, we do try hard to ensure that our products represent best value for money - often by a large margin. Our products typically sell for between one half and one fifth of the price other vendors ask for products of similar capability.
We do not achieve this however by skimping on features or performance. If we elect to leave out a feature it is only because the cost of providing it cannot be justified by the utility it provides, or where the feature is likely to be of interest to only a very small number of potential users.
By adopting this philosophy, employing economical product housings, operating from a low-cost economy with low overheads, and using direct marketing and distribution, we can offer exceptional value for money without compromising on features or performance. Our special relationship with Philips gives us an even greater 'edge'.
For instance, all our emulation systems offer large emulation program memories (often exceeding the memory available in the targeted microcontroller devices), and deep wide trace memories with the ability to record up to 12 digital signals in addition to execution activity. Our more recent USB-based emulation systems include a programmable power supply and a precision PLL-based programmable clock. Some can even provide a programmable power supply (with a programmable current limit) to your target system. These emulators typically provide 100% transparent (no stolen resources) real-time emulation over the full working voltage range specified for the target device to beyond the maximum rated clock frequency.
The products that you have purchased from us can even get better with time - and at no cost to you. Our more recent products have fully field-upgradeable FPGA logic and firmware which is under continuous development, and we hence regularly post free updates for you to download which provide significant new features, or improved performance or functionality.
We recognise the importance of technical support to our customers, and in order to provide the best possible service we insist that our support is provided directly by the engineers responsible for the original design and development. Our policy is to respond to support enquiries on the day they are received - in many cases within an hour (depending on the relative time zones). Of course our engineers hate our support policy but it does have the added advantage of making them strive harder to design better products that require minimum support.
We understand that delays are very frustrating, so we work very hard to ensure that our most popular products are available from stock. This means that we are generally able to fill and ship your order as soon as we receive it. Our policy is to ship within one working day and same-day if possible. If we can't supply immediately then we can often suggest an alternate stockist who can.
To summarise then, when you purchase from us you can be assured that you are receiving a standards-setting fully-featured best-in-class product, which is second to none in value terms. You won't have to wait weeks for delivery (or be shunted on to a distributor), and if you need support, you can deal directly with the engineer who designed the system.
